Robotic Exosystem creator Built Robotics recently expanded its autonomous construction equipment into the European market, according to a press release.

"Demand for the Exosystem has been tremendous in the critical European market," vice president of business development and strategy at Built Robotics, Gaurav Kikani, said. "By putting our autonomous solutions into the hands of contractors and skilled workers throughout Europe, Built continues to make job sites smarter, safer and more productive across the globe."

In correlation with the launch, Built will host a real-time, live video demonstration of its Exosystem at the popular trade fair, bauma.

“Built's Exosystem transforms excavators into fully autonomous robots. The Exosystem can be installed within hours on a variety of machines from most major manufacturers, while still maintaining complete manual control,” a recent press release states. “Current solutions include fully autonomous excavators used to dig trench in energy and infrastructure projects.”

Scheduled to run Monday through Friday, the demonstration will give viewers a 360-degree view and insight on how to install Built's Exosystem on excavators to give them autonomous and robotic abilities. With the ability to remote control the robot on a laptop, viewers “can experience a real-time, live video feed demonstrating autonomous heavy equipment operating from thousands of kilometers away in the United States and Australia.”

The Exosystem is just one of the launches Built Robotics is credited with developing. The company was recently nominated for the 2022 bauma Innovation Award in the mechanical engineering category. The winners will be declared before the trade fair.
