RMG of Born2Global Centre, South Korea announced in a release Wednesday they are taking SWEBS—a one-stop platform for hologram-encrypted QR code technology, distribution and administrative solutions—to the United States markets.

According to the release, RMG will begin promoting and advertising at events like CES, PACK EXPO and Cosmoprof Las Vegas.

"We hope more customers in the U.S. and other global markets will benefit from our advanced technology," Hee jeong Kim, CEO of RMG, said in the release.

Launched this past September, SWEBS integrates hologram labels, an app and a web authentication system that encrypts a non-replicable QR code into a hologram to combat any attempted forgeries or counterfeit goods.

According to the press release, this complicated and ever-evolving technology was first patented in Korea by RMG and is also patented in the U.S.

"Brands that take years to build could collapse in a flash because of counterfeiting. RMG is committed to protecting our customers' brands and copyrights from falsification with our top-notch security solutions," Kim said.
