Globant recently launched its new dedicated regional unit across Asia-Pacific and the Middle East, according to a press release.

"It's time for Globant to reach thriving geographies and economies in Asia-Pacific and the Middle East," co-founder and CEO of Globant, Martin Migoya, said. "We have had an unprecedented evolution and development in the last few years, and we want to keep growing. Geographic expansion has always been a strategic pillar for us, and kicking off in a new region will enable us to continue helping organizations to transform and reinvent their businesses."

In correlation with the expansion, Globant appointed various executives to lead its regional offices, promoting former chief business officer (CBO) for EMEA, Federico Pienovi, to the role of CBO and general manager for the new markets region. He will prioritize the growth of the company's operations in Asia-Pacific and the Middle East.

The company's CBO for the North American region, Fernando Marzkin, will now be overseeing operations in Europe as a result of the restructuring strategy, while CBO for Latin America, Nicolás Kaplun, takes over his duties as CBO of North America. Ignacio Iglesias, who currently oversees Peru, Chile and Ecuador, is promoted to lead the entire Latin American region overall.

Founded in 2003, Globant specializes in creating innovative solutions for tech clients, such as Google, Electronic Arts and Santander, among various others. Since its establishment, the company has expanded in more than 20 countries, now counting with the support of 26,500 employees.

"These changes will strengthen Globant's position globally and our ability to build local leadership teams with a great understanding of our clients' needs, and a passion to help organizations in their reinvention journey," said Patricia Pomies, COO of Globant.
