Talos recently made a series of sales and business development appointments, according to a press release.

"We are excited to welcome Emi and Chris to the Talos team as we continue to expand our presence in the region," said Anton Katz, co-founder and CEO of Talos. "Even in the face of recent volatility, institutional adoption of digital assets remains strong as institutions continue to build their offerings for this emerging asset class. We are proud to strengthen our EMEA team with Emi and Chris and look forward to their contributions and impact as they help Talos scale and expand in this key strategic area."

The company recently welcomed Emi Lorincz as director of business development EMEA, and Chris Soutar as sales director EMEA.

The new hires follow other recent additions, including the new head of sales for EMEA, Frank van Zegfeld. Both appointments reflect the company’s effort to expand globally.

Under her new role as director, Lorincz, based in Switzerland, will be tasked with executing Talos' go-to-market strategy and developing partnerships to promote revenue growth in the region.

The executive brings in more than 10 years of business development experience with Morgan Stanley, General Electric and Ledger Enterprise. She also served as the president of the board of the Crypto Valley Association.

Based in London, Soutar will be tasked with driving, managing and executing Talos' revenue generation strategies across EMEA. He will contribute more than 10 years of experience in global FX sales. Before accepting his role as sales director EMEA, Soutar contributed to 360T, Deutsche Börse Group's affiliated FX trading venue, Eurex and Investec.
