Vantage Data Centers recently established three new facilities in Berlin and Frankfurt, according to a press release.

The openings will follow an additional office in Raunheim, all of which are intended to promote the company’s global growth.

“Vantage has experienced rapid growth over the past three years as we continue to construct world-class data center campuses across EMEA,” president, EMEA at Vantage Data Centers, Antoine Boniface, said. “We have taken critical steps to not only drive growth and development to meet the needs of our customers, but to build partnerships within local communities and create meaningful job opportunities for the local citizens.”

Vantage’s Berlin-based campus spans 25 acres, two stories and 130,000 square feet. The facility holds an IT capacity of 16 megawatts (MW). Once completed, the campus will feature a total of four data centers measuring 56MW and 474,000 square feet.

Located approximately 20 kilometers from its Berlin I campus, Vantage’s first-ever two-story Berlin II campus in Mittenwalde will hold an IT capacity of 16MW, adding onto the ever-expanding 12-acre campus, which houses two facilities spanning 32MW and 260,000 square feet upon completion.

The two new additions will collectively contribute 88MW of capacity to the company’s catalog of operations, providing “services that are indispensable for a digital and sustainable future,” said Thomas Jühe, mayor, City of Raunheim. “The fact that Vantage Data Centers is now opening its administrative site in Raunheim, in addition to operating data centers and its committed energy partnership with the city, make us all the more pleased."

Vantage’s first data center on its Frankfurt II campus, composed of four stories, is based on seven acres of land, featuring 350,000 square feet. The new facility contributes 40MW of the campus’ projected 56MW of total IT capacity.

The company will also prioritize the development of its first 55MW Frankfurt I campus, based in Offenbach. The new venture will offer a total of 111MW of IT capacity in the Frankfurt region.

Neighboring Frankfurt II campus and the international airport, the company’s new establishment in Raunheim, scheduled to open later this month, will count with the support of 30 employees.
