Engine product and drive systems manufacturer Dayco recently invested in a new manufacturing facility, based in San Luis Potosi in Mexico, according to a press release.
"This is an exciting strategic investment that allows us to expand Dayco's presence in North America and subsequently, the company's overall global footprint," said John Kinnick, president, Global Belt Division. "As a result, we will be even better placed to serve our valued customers and provide them with quality products at the right value."
The new facility will be used to produce the company’s original equipment quality drive belts.
Located in a popular industrial park, Parque Tres Nations, the new venture’s construction is scheduled for completion by Q1-2024.
Since its establishment in 1905, Dayco has specialized in producing belts for original equipment manufacturers and aftermarket customers, offering a wide range of accessory and drive belts.
