Southern California-inspired activewear brand Vuori recently launched in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, the Middle East and Mexico, according to a press release.

"We are proud to continue Vuori's expansion outside of the U.S.," founder and CEO of Vuori, Joe Kudla, who was recently recognized with a 2022 Entrepreneur of the Year award said. "We are excited to bring our vision and brand to consumers in these key markets, connecting with customers around the world."

The launch grants customer access to Vuori branded e-commerce shops based in each city. The popular apparel brand is already available on Chinese direct to consumer websites, Tmall.

“Shoppers on Tmall will have access to a targeted assortment catering to the Chinese consumer, and those in Singapore, Hong Kong, the Middle East and Mexico can now browse Vuori's entire collection of men's and women's apparel at their country's respective web addresses below,” a recent press release explains.

The launch follows similar openings in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, Australia and Canada, as well as a $400 million investment funded by the SoftBank Vision Fund 2, which valued the brand at $4 billion.

Next up on Vuori’s list for expansion are Japan and Korea, as well as additional UK stores. The brand plans to hire 100 employees by the end of this year, and hopes to continue expanding globally with 100 new U.S. stores by 2026.

“As it reaches new markets around the globe, Vuori continues to enrich its product offering, support its sustainability goals and make key investments in infrastructure and people,” a recent press release states.
