Schonfeld Strategic Advisors LLC appointed Jennifer Cohen to the role of global head of human capital management, a press release reported.

"Jennifer is an accomplished leader with extensive experience developing and executing a strategic vision for human capital," Chief Strategy Officer Danielle Pizzo said. "We welcome her to Schonfeld as we continue to expand our business, nurture our culture and create lasting impact on our people, our investors, our partners and our communities."

Under her new role, Cohen will oversee the company’s human capital operations, and develop new strategies to leverage its investment decisions and talent recruitment processes. The expert will also serve as a member of the Schonfeld Global Management Committee. Based in New York City, she is set to report to Pizzo.

Some of the qualities she hopes to integrate into the company are diversity, equity and inclusion. Cohen will help the company expand its already well-established global footprint. With 19 offices across the U.S., EMEA and Asia Pacific, the company has quickly expanded, adding more than 250 employees and 15 investment teams this year alone.

The Bryn Mawr College graduate has dedicated more than two decades to the financial industry, previously contributing to Global Atlantic and its predecessor Goldman Sachs, specializing in human resources, mortgage and risks. She is also skilled at developing and recruiting strategy, talent, culture and analytics.

"This is an incredible time to join Schonfeld as it continues to evolve and grow globally. The firm's leaders have a vision for talent and culture that fosters an innovative approach to Human Capital Management," Cohen said.
