Accenture recently acquired Sentia’s operations across the Netherlands, Belgium, and Bulgaria. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
"Accenture Cloud First’s priority is to help clients with total enterprise reinvention by building their digital core, optimizing operations and accelerating growth,” said Karthik Narain, global lead for Accenture Cloud First, according to a Sept. 2 press release. “Adding the Sentia team expands our migration and modernization capabilities, and further equips us to help companies optimize their workloads across the cloud continuum.”
Confirmed in early August, the acquisition includes the addition of more than 300 cloud specialists to Accenture's Cloud First network, leveraging the company’s public, private and sovereign cloud end-to-end cloud infrastructure services, the release stated.
“The acquisition of Sentia’s business in the Netherlands, Belgium and Bulgaria enhances our capabilities in Europe, particularly around hybrid cloud and sovereign cloud,” said Roy Ikink, lead for Accenture Cloud First Netherlands. “The Sentia team’s experience in this area will be invaluable in helping clients to address regional data privacy regulations.”
Based in the Netherlands, Sentia offers cloud advisory, development, and delivery services. The cloud consulting company also offers tracking and analytic digital experience monitoring services.
Sentia specializes in main cloud control and optimization services included but not limited to cloud management, cloud security and cloud infrastructure migration, according to the release.
