Eckoh CEO on new global marketing director: 'She has extremely relevant B2B tech and customer engagement marketing experience'

Eckoh recently appointed Ruth Oakey as global marketing director to help promote its global expansion, according to a press release.

“We are delighted to confirm Ruth as our global marketing director at Eckoh,” Nik Philpot, CEO, said. “She has extremely relevant B2B tech and customer engagement marketing experience and brings a wealth of digital and technology marketing expertise that will really help us continue to drive forward our ambitious global growth plans."

Under her new role, Oakey will be tasked with promoting Eckoh’s customer engagement data and payment security.

Bringing in just under three decades of B2B marketing experience to the global customer engagement security solutions provider, the expert has led various direct marketing operations, developing and implementing B2B marketing strategies.

“She is well-versed in account-based marketing, insight generation and global go-to-market planning to achieve business objectives,” a recent press release states.

Set to report to CEO Nik Philphot, Eckoh will work on developing global marketing strategies for both, the U.S. and the UK.

"It is an exciting time to join Eckoh, with its ongoing growth plans following its acquisition of Syntec,” Oakey said. “I am really looking forward to collaborating with the team; to build innovative and creative marketing ideas which will further drive new clients to Eckoh and support the business’ impressive track record for customer retention."
