Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has partnered with Grupo Cancun to launch its Wyndham Grand Cancun All-Inclusive Resort & Villas. Serving as the first resort in the city for the brand, the resort is now accepting bookings for its grand opening on November 1, 2022.
"With more than three decades of experience, we see that we are in an increasingly globalized world and recognized an opportunity to strengthen our international position through working with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts," Abelardo Vara, President of Grupo Cancún said.
The new establishment will join a catalog of 65 other Wyndham Grand hotels based across China, Vietnam, Turkey, Germany and the United States, among other territories. Other Wyndham hotels can be found in Mexico City, Monterrey, Tulum, Guadalajara, Playa del Carmen and Puebla.
Located at the center of the hotel zone neighboring the beach, the oceanfront business features 364 guest rooms, suites and villas, and common spaces.
Guests will have a variety of cuisines, ranging from Brazilian to Japanese and traditional Mexican food. The resort also offers five bars, four pools, a spa, a gym, retail shops, a beach club, tennis courts, and a kids club, among other activities.
“The opening of Wyndham Grand Cancun All-Inclusive Resort & Villas comes at a time when travelers are seeking easy-to-plan vacations,” a recent press release states, citing the findings from a recent survey, commissioned by Wyndham and conducted by OnePoll, suggesting that “75% of travelers believe the best way to travel is booking an all-inclusive trip and 77% believe that an all-inclusive vacation is the least stressful way to travel.”
Spanning 9,000 hotels across over 95 countries, the brand will add Wyndham Grand Cancun All-Inclusive Resort & Villas to its general catalog and its award-winning Wyndham Rewards loyalty program on November 1, 2022, granting more than 95 million enrolled members the opportunity to win points at participating hotels, vacation club resorts and vacation rentals worldwide.
"Wyndham Grand resorts offer everyday travelers experiences in some of the world's most sought-after destinations, which now includes Cancun," Scott LePage, President of Americas at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, said. "Travelers can expect an upscale experience in the heart of the destination and immerse themselves in the Mexican culture through the resort's wide range of dining experiences and activities."
