IPS managing director: 'We are delighted to welcome Kevin to the IPS family'

IPS-Integrated Project Services, LLC recently appointed Kevin Owen to its EMEA team as director of aseptic technology.

"We are delighted to welcome Kevin to the IPS family," said Daryn Jenkins, managing director, EMEA. "His experience and energy are key to delivering our projects across EMEA and ensuring that our clients' voices will be carried through the implementation phase of all of our projects. I'm so pleased he has decided to join our team."

Under his new role, Owen, based in Birmingham, UK, will be required to offer technical consultation related to pharmaceutical functions to aid the company’s quest to strengthen its European Aseptic Manufacturing Expertise, as well as aseptic technology projects for EMEA-based clients across UK, Ireland, Switzerland and Germany, among other territories.

The executive, bringing in more than three decades of aseptic fill finish subject matter experience, specializes in pharmaceutical operations and QC laboratory management. He also carries various microbiology, aseptic fill finish, QC laboratories and advanced therapy medicinal product trainings, as well as ample experience with managing product life cycle project from early-stage clinical trials to full commercial capability stages.

Owen is also recognized as a contributor to various end-to-end projects from the early stages of practicability to end-stage CQV practices and operator training, as well as global aseptic conferences.

“He has experience installing new lines and equipment within an existing facility while retaining commercial capacity,” a press release reads. “He is adept at understanding and navigating regulatory guidelines from his time as the client, with expert knowledge of CGMP and current/future compliance expectations, including draft Annex I.”
