Bacardi Limited recently appointed Dave Ingram as chief supply chain officer, according to a press release. He will now form part of the company’s global leadership team.
“Dave’s passion for leading with purpose and ensuring a long-term sustainable business model makes him a great fit as we continue building on the future legacy of Bacardi. His global experience, collaborative approach, digital focus and leadership style will be an asset to our team and to our customers across the world,” Mahesh Madhavan, CEO of Bacardi Limited said. “We are excited to welcome him as he delivers on dynamic sourcing that will bring our iconic brands to consumers in the most efficient and responsible way possible.”
Under his new role, Ingram, based in Geneva, Switzerland, is set to report to CEO Mahesh Madhavan. The executive will now be tasked with taking on the tasks left behind by Jean-Marc Lambert, who will soon retired after completing a 20-plus-year tenure at Bacardi Limited.
Ingram will be responsible for overseeing the company’s end-to-end supply chain operations, aiming to improve its sourcing key ingredients and global centers.
Jean-Marc will continue to fulfill his duties through the end of the fiscal year until April 1, 2023.
Prior to accepting his role with Bacardi Limited, Ingram served as chief procurement officer at Unilever, where he oversaw global spend across marketing, business services, production items and collaborative manufacturing portfolios, and helped a wide range of other global roles.
Originally from Scotland, the Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh graduate has previously held leadership roles in Singapore, Amsterdam, Shanghai, Mexico and the United Kingdom.
“I believe in the power of leading with a purpose and Bacardi exemplifies this through its incredible heritage, strong values, iconic brands and its commitment to quality and passion for innovation,” Dave Ingram said. “The ambitious vision for the future of Bacardi is an exciting next adventure for me and the wider team.”
