Winnitex Group Sales Director Tracy Ng recently attended Premiere Vision Paris, an industry event that attracts executives from the six major industries that provide materials and other services for the global fashion industry, according to a release.

According to a press release, the event, held at Paris-Nord Villepinte, was an opportunity to view fashion and color trends for the upcoming autumn/winter 2022-23 season.

“Premiere Vision Paris is a place to find design inspiration and meet with the sharpest minds in the fashion industry, from across the globe,” Ng said, according to the press release.

Ng emphasized the value of being able to attend the event in person for the first time since the pandemic began, especially because she was able to see physical products, as well as converse with exhibitors and designers. One valuable program in her view was the "Eco-Innovation Trend," which highlighted ways to combine high quality materials in order to make garments last longer.

Ng has worked as Winnitex's sales director since 1997, and she oversees some of the company's largest apparel brand accounts, while also being responsible for company research and development. Her undergraduate degree is in textile chemistry from Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and she also has a master's degree from the University of Stirling in Scotland, UK.

Winnitex, which was family-founded in 1964, is based out of Hong Kong. The company is a leading manufacturer of dyed woven fabrics, and also designs and produces custom seasonal fabric collections for its customers. Premiere Vision is based in Paris and has been holding textile and fashion trade fairs around the world for almost five decades.
