VAH hires new chief technical officer to promote its global 'growth strategy'

VAH has appointed Dinnaga Padmaperuma as chief technical officer (CTO) of the company, a press release reported.

“VAH executes its growth strategy to become a leading provider of aircraft and capital solutions to the aviation industry,” a recent press release states.

In his new role as CTO, Padmaperuma will oversee all of the Ireland and Connecticut-based aviation investment firm and commercial aircraft leasing company technical operations as it pursues a global expansion.

Before accepting his position at VAH, Padmaperuma garnered most of his aviation experience during his time at various lessors, MRO’s and airlines, including ICBC, Sri Lankan Airlines, MCAP, Amentum and Lufthansa Technik.

With $2 billion worth of assets in its possession, the company services various passenger and cargo airlines across the globe, including Air France, Cebu Pacific, Sichuan Airlines, Turkish Airlines and ITA.
