Altavair L.P., based in Washington, confirmed the opening of its new Altavair Limited office in Dublin, Ireland, according to a press release.
“We are very fortunate to have assembled an exceptional team for our Dublin office,” head of operations for Altavair, Timothy O’Hara, said in the release. “Due to the tremendous depth of aircraft financing experience in Ireland, having a Dublin presence will be a key driver for our continued growth and success.”
The new team will be tasked with supporting Altavair’s marketing, technical, accounting, legal and contract management. Its dealings will correlate with Altavair’s existing operations in London, Seattle and Singapore.
According to the press release, the launch forms part of the global commercial aviation lease finance company’s global expansion pursuit.
“We are energized by our continued growth and believe this is a logical next step in our evolution to better serve our investors and airline customers,” said Steve Rimmer, CEO of Altavair, in a press release. “Entering the Dublin market has long been on our radar and with our ever-expanding portfolio and the continued support from KKR, we felt this was the right time to make the move.”
