IAA, Inc. has expanded its network of marketplace alliances in El Salvador through its newfound partnership with Trans-Auto SAde CV.
“We are delighted to expand IAA's reach into the Northern Triangle of Central America,” IAA CEO and President John Kett said in a recent press release. "There is already a significant volume of buyer traffic in the San Salvador region and we look forward to helping meet the needs of the growing buyer base in this strategic market."
Serving as a mediator between vehicle buyers and sellers, the new IAA Auction Center will operate in the capital, San Salvador, to help local buyers through the registration process, provide bid and payment guidance and assist with transporting, shipping and authorizing entry for the vehicles, a press release notes.
“The introduction of an IAA Auction Center and IAA's state-of-the-art bidding technology will help area buyers purchase vehicles with greater satisfaction and convenience than ever before,” owner of Trans-Auto SAde CV, Alejandro Mohor, said in a press release. “We are honored that IAA has placed their trust in Trans-Auto, and we look forward to working with IAA to serve local buyers in their country's language."
The Westchester, Illinois-based company stands at the center of the country’s most prominent import terminals, which receives incoming shipped vehicles, a press release reported.
Noting the rapidly growing number of buyer transactions in the region, the international collaboration will help accelerate bidding offers and create an outlet of support for new buyers and existing IAA partners.
“We look forward to working with IAA to serve local buyers,” Mohor said. “IAA auctions have seen increased bids from buyers in El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras."
