Procore Technologies, Inc. recently launched its operations in France in an effort to continue expanding its global footprint.
“Construction professionals in France are accelerating their digital transformation efforts as they seek ways to optimize the performance of their businesses and collaboration on projects,” newly appointed senior director, France and Southern Europe at Procore, Laurence Caron, said, according to a press release. "Our launch in France gives us a unique opportunity to expand our one platform approach to an established construction market – but more importantly – to meet the needs of local customers who want to drive innovation while also controlling costs and improving productivity.”
The move was confirmed as the industry experiences significant regional growth across EMEA following its UKI and MENA launches in 2018 and in 2021.
Caron, an executive with years of SaaS and development experience under his belt, will help lead operations in the region, covering all customer touchpoints, a press release stated.
“At Procore we live and breathe construction: It’s our only focus. Our approach has always been to focus on and partner with the industry to understand their challenges and in return improve the lives of everyone in construction; we are excited to bring this to the fore in France so everyone can build smarter,” Caron said, according to a press release.
The platform offers guidance to ensure proper “project management, quality and safety, financials, resource management and analytics.” The launch is intended to help the construction management software provider to supply owners, general contractors and specialty contractors with the ability to manage collaborations, streamline communication and measures overall business performances in a live, visible form.
“Procore has been designed around a single idea: Only when all people, all systems and all data work together on a single platform can we realize the full potential of construction technology,” the press release states.
Caron will host a conference on April 5 to discuss plans and a list of supporters for the region, and a feature session with one of its clients, Ferrovial. Live demos of the platform will also be available at the event. To further support the local construction industry, the company counts on BIM World as a premier partner to collaborate at an April major construction, real estate and urban development trade show set to take place in Paris, France.
Procore has garnered a clientele base of 12,000 customers and contributed to more than one million projects across the globe since its establishment in 2002.
“For the past 20 years, we have been working to connect everyone in construction on a global platform,” said Tooey Courtemanche, Procore founder and CEO, according to a press release. “Procore is now used in over 150 countries, and many of our customers have projects running in France already. Formally expanding to France will enable Procore to be the best partner to construction leaders in this region, and across the globe.”
