Advanced Clinical has invited Chicago-based Dr. Andreas Amrein to join its executive team as senior vice president of Asia-Pacific (APAC) and Japan, and managing director for Europe and Canada.
“We are excited to have Andreas on our team as we continue to expand into the APAC region and Japan,” President of Advanced Clinical Julie Ross said. “Andreas will be instrumental in accelerating business growth as we diversify our global clinical programs and elevate our clinical strategy for the clients and patients we serve.
Amrein will soon be tasked with developing and expanding the company with 10 new office additions across Europe and in Toronto, Canada, and strengthening its existing catalog of agencies in various locations, including Singapore, Australia and Japan.
With more than two decades in his field, the medical veteran has led several teams across 30 territories. Some of the companies he has contributed to include Novartis, Abbott and Shire, as well as dynamic start-ups, a related press release stated.
“From my specialization in rapid commercial expansions, launches, transformations, partnerships and more across Asia and around the globe, I look forward to leveraging my knowledge to help Advanced Clinical further establish quality operations internationally,” Amrein said.
The new addition will help the clinical development and strategic resourcing organization, specializing in drug development, to introduce and improve its clinical research abilities in various additional potential markets.
“After our successful entry into the region in 2021 combined with additional APAC office openings planned for 2022, Andreas will undoubtedly help elevate our presence across the APAC, European and Canadian regions as a global leader in clinical research, FSP and strategic resourcing services,” Ross said.
