Adjusting to a hybrid work setting when the COVID-19 pandemic hit was not an easy exercise for many companies.

Ryan, a global tax services and software provider, was among those who did it the best, according to a Feb. 21 press release published by Business Wire.

Ryan has been named one of the 2022 Best Workplaces for Hybrid Work in Canada, an inaugural list that recognizes companies that moved to a hybrid work setting due to the pandemic, according to the release.

“Being named to this inaugural list demonstrates the commitment to our team members’ well-being,” Ryan President of Canadian Operations, Garry Round, said in the release. “Our myRyan program is designed to give our team members the opportunity to achieve work-life success. We are constantly gathering data to further enhance our workplaces around the globe and ensure we provide a best-in-class workplace.”

The myRyan program provides employees with the option to work in a fully remote setting, or to choose hybrid work options based on their personal preferences and the needs of the team overall, according to the release.

The company is “the largest firm in the world dedicated exclusively to business taxes,” the release stated. Developed in 2008, Ryan now has more than 3,000 employees serving more than 18,000 clients in 60 countries, with its global headquarters in Dallas.

The list of Best Workplaces, according to the release, was selected “based on the responses of surveyed employees based on the Hybrid Work Readiness Index, organizational workplace programs, and other forms of hybrid work.”
