"Prior to becoming an attorney, Peter was a software developer, which was the foundation for his legal career in privacy and data protection," Sheila Millar, a partner in Keller and Heckman's privacy, data protection and digital media practice, said in the news release. "Keller and Heckman helps clients solve business problems, and Peter’s deep understanding of technology gives him a unique ability to provide practical advice on a host of data protection questions."

Craddock brings to Keller and Heckman his extensive global practice in data protection, privacy, cybersecurity, software contracting and e-commerce and can advise clients about data and technology, as well as complex data privacy laws and regulation compliance, providing representation in data protection and other related court proceedings.

It's a good fit, Craddock said in the news release.

"Keller and Heckman has provided me this opportunity to broaden [its] international privacy, data protection and digital media practice," Craddock said. "Being part of this dynamic team made my move to Keller and Heckman an easy career decision. I am looking forward to helping the firm’s clients and my existing clients realize their data ambitions, and I am delighted to work with the team to grow the practice further on the global stage."

Keller and Heckman is an international law firm that provides a broad practice in public policy, regulatory law and litigation. With offices worldwide, Keller and Heckman represents global companies and trade associations in industries that include telecommunications, technology, food and food additives, pesticides, plastics, consumer products, industrial and specialty chemicals, medical devices, drugs and transportation.

The firm considers itself a pioneer in tackling technically complex legal matters by involving both in-house scientific experts and its legal staff in problem solving, the release said.
