A leader in transforming cybersecurity through collective defense recently announced progress in its global expansion efforts.

IronNet, Inc. said in a news release dated Feb. 16 that the company is adding a wealth management platform and private healthcare service client from Singapore. Both organizations will remain anonymous to protect their operational security, the release said.

"We chose IronNet over other options after demonstrating in-depth Proof of Value criteria,” the unnamed director of IT for the wealth management platform said. “Through the detections, IronNet's solution clearly showed its value, and we are looking at a long-term partnership with IronNet to augment our existing investments."

The release said that Singapore's critical sectors are analyzing their traditional approach, as cybersecurity attacks are on the rise.

"IronNet was chosen after very careful and deliberate evaluation criteria,” the unnamed chief information security officer for the private health service company said, according to the release. “IronNet's solution clearly showed the value and the support from the team on the ground was instrumental in choosing them as the trusted advisor and technology provider for threat hunting.”

The collaboration will be based on IronNet's AI-based Network Detection and Response (NDR) solution, the release said.

“It’s no coincidence that critical sectors, managing the most sensitive of data, look to IronNet to safeguard their information and their business,” Gaurav Chhiber, vice president of Asia Pacific and Japan at IronNet, said, according to the release. “Collective Defense combines advanced behavioral analytics with sector and nationwide intelligence to help ensure the security and resilience of the most critical sectors and infrastructure."

Singapore hopes to obtain the latest technology to provide quality solutions to its global clients, the release said.

IronNet was founded in 2014 by Gen. Keith Alexander. The organization is a leader in transforming cybersecurity in companies to secure their networks and deliver the "first-ever Collective Defense platform operating at scale," the release said. "Employing a number of former NSA cybersecurity operators with offensive and defensive cyber experience, IronNet integrates deep tradecraft knowledge into its industry-leading products to solve the most challenging cyber problems facing the world today."
