The 21st annual U.S.-China Trade Conference is scheduled for May 12-13 in Chicago.
The conference, which is sponsored by the United States of America-China Chamber of Commerce, is a large in-person networking event featuring sponsors and members from across the globe, according to the chamber’s website.
The event will be held at the Union League Club in Chicago where several issues will be discussed including policy developments on regional government agendas, technologies that will emerge to improve supply-chain efficiency and transparency, and climate change, the chamber’s website stated.
“The last 12 months have seen Asian trade and economies rebound following the shock of Covid-19,” according to a release announcing the summit. “Despite continued tensions between China and America, and climate-led disruptions to supply chains, reasons for optimism about the future of Asian trade remain.”
Founded in 1993, the USCCC has representation in several major American and Chinese cities. Its membership includes more than 350 corporations, of which, 98% are based in the U.S., the release stated.
