Cowells Arrow Bingo Company, a subsidiary of Arrow International, announced Feb. 7 the acquisition of Automatic Machine Services Limited's assets.
The deal serves as the company's entry into the United Kingdom gaming machine market, according to a press release published on the website Business Wire.

The company is now working to expand electronic gaming products into the UK, according to the release.
“It is amazing that our relationship with Tony and the Cowells Arrow team has brought us to what will be an exciting step forward in the company’s journey," Managing Director of AMS, Jason Jarrett, said in the release. "The opportunity to join forces with and become part of the Arrow family will allow us to pursue and realize far greater business opportunities together."
Automatic Machine Services was founded in 1960 by Jarrett's grandfather, James Frank Jarrett, the release stated. The company provides gaming, amusement and ancillary machines in England.
Arrow International manufactures and distributes games like electronic pull tabs, bingo products and more, according to the release. The company was founded in 1967 and is based in Cleveland. It employs approximately 1,200 people.
