The United States-China Chamber of Commerce (USCCC) plans to celebrate Asia Trade Week with in-person and virtual events over four days.

Asia Trade Week is set for March 21-23, according to the USCCC site.

Asian trade and economy businesses have rebound in the last year following declines attributed to the pandemic, according to the organization's site.

"Despite continued tensions between China and America, and climate-led disruptions to supply chains, reasons for optimism about the future of Asian trade remain," the organization's website reads.

The theme for the gathering is “Trade in Asia: Looking ahead,” the USCCC website stated.

"We strongly believe that manufacturing is vital to America’s prosperity," President of USCCC, Siva Yam, said in a statement. "The USCCC is committed to assisting U.S. companies in understanding its global dynamics and remain competitive in a rapidly changing environment. In many respects, doing business in China today is not the same as it was five years ago or even one year ago."

Founded in 1993, the USCCC is a nonprofit and bi-natural organization with representation in major cities across the U.S. and China, according to the chamber’s site. Over 350 corporations and professional members are in the organization.
