Flora Growth Corp. is launching its Mind Naturals skin care brand through Walmart.com and Coppel, a nationwide department store in Mexico.

Flora Growth is an all-outdoor cultivator and manufacturer of global cannabis products. The company announced the launch, which will feature 12 products from the Mind Naturals portfolio, in a Jan. 4 release. The company plans to start with e-commerce and open retail locations in the future.

Walmart is one of the leading retail chains in Central America, while Coppel has 1,253 stores in Mexico, the release stated. Estimates indicate that the market for cannabis and its derivatives will generate $102 billion in sales globally by 2026 with Mexico being one of the biggest markets for commercialization of CBD products.

“We are excited to begin bringing high-quality, sustainable CBD skin care products to Mexico,” Luis Merchan, CEO of Flora Growth Corp. said in the release. “This agreement represents our first foray into the Mexican market and furthers our global foothold as a leader in plant-based wellness and lifestyle brands. As the cannabis market continues its rapid expansion across the globe and into various sectors, we are poised to meet the needs of the market at every touch point.”

Flora's Mind Naturals products use premium CBD and quality ingredients, according to the release. It was named a trendsetting brand at CosmoProf North America in 2021 for its innovation in sustainable packaging. In December 2021, Mind Naturals was a top 12 finalist in Glosswire’s Global Pitch Competition, which includes beauty brands from several countries.
