Generational Equity, a leading mergers and acquisitions advisor for privately held businesses, announced Dec. 10 the sale of its client, RJS Trading International, LTD, a Canadian company, to a private investor.
According to a businesswire press release, the transaction closed Nov. 15. RJS is a home textile wholesaler in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada, the release stated.
"The Company generates 100% of revenue from the wholesale of home textile goods including bedding, bath and window goods," the release stated.
While the company offers some goods online, the majority of its products are sold directly to distributors.
Generational Equity Executive Managing Director of M&A (Mergers and Acquisitions) – Western Region, Stephen Crisham, and his team, led by Senior M&A Advisor, Ted Rattenberry, with support by Sr. Managing Director - Western Region, Lori Galloway closed the transaction, according to the release. Executive Managing Director and Group Leader, Randy Kamin, established the initial relationship with RJS.
