Byron Allen's Allen Media Group has appointed Brooke Kahn as senior vice president of Content Distribution, Partnerships and Programming.

"I am thrilled to be a part of the content partnership team as we continue to expand Allen Media Group's global distribution platforms," Kahn said.

Her role includes oversight of digital sales and licensing deals made on behalf of Entertainment Studios as well as Freestyle Digital Media platforms. Kahn will lead all commercial feature film and television content operations for OTT, Television and Digital Networks, as well as content deals and acquisitions for the company’s OTT platforms, theGrio and Local Now, among various others, a press release said.

Kahn previously served as vice president of Digital Sales and Partnerships after initially joining the company as a director of Digital Distribution and Sales in 2017, the release said. Prior to her tenure with Allen Media, she was senior manager of Digital Sales for Cinedigm, where she contributed to crucial partnerships with iTunes, Amazon, Google Play and other large groups.

Besides ownership of TV stations in 20 U.S. markets, LA-based Allen Media handles operations and active license agreements and programming in South Africa, The United Arab Emirates, Australia, The Bahamas, Canada and New Zealand.
