WaterPure International has launched a new website that highlights an expanded business plan aimed at clean water operation, including the company’s first project located in Africa.

A video on the website shows the drilling process that the company was involved in in Sub Sahara Africa, where a solar-powered well was being built for a dairy operation. The project – the first of its kind by WaterPure International – has been completed, the company said in a release.

The Fort Lauderdale, Florida, company is also known for manufacturing its Atmospheric Water Generator.” Water Quality Products said the generator looks like a water cooler and creates drinking water from humidity.

“Our Atmospheric Water Generator is the only one that is made in the USA,” Water Quality Products said on it website. “We hold the only patented ozone water purification system for this product in the world.”

WaterPure International said that the renewable water market is estimated at more than $263 billion, adding that water scarcity impacts more than 3 billion people. This is expected to rise drastically over the next three decades, with 2050 projections calling for water scarcity to affect 5 billion people.

The release said that there was a water shortage this summer in Lake Mead, which serves 10 million people and is the country’s largest water reserve.

WaterPure International has a mission to “find profitable new efficiencies and technologies to manage water supplies that reverse the growing global water scarcity,” its website says.

“In conjunction with the company's business plan to trial and refine new water management efficiencies and technologies within developing economic regions and then scale those solutions for global applications, the company expects to make a water related intellectual property acquisition prior to the end of the year,” the release said.

WaterPure International and Alkame Holdings Inc. have also been discussing an emergency water reserve solution designed specifically for disaster relief.

WaterPure International lists three corporate goals on its website. The first is to introduce projects in developing economic areas where there are water shortages. Another goal is to “trial, refine and prove efficiencies and technologies” in these projects. The third is to scale these efficiencies and technologies to make it a global endeavor.
