Live streaming audio service TuneIn has established a partnership with News UK to expand its radio offerings. 

Through this partnership, TuneIn will be able to bring the UK radio content including news, music and sports coverage to its more than 80 million global listeners, according to a press release.

The partnership will advance TuneIn's ongoing global expansion agenda and enable the company to deliver its content to new markets abroad and in the United States.

"TuneIn is helping create new growth opportunities for radio stations around the world, enabling regional broadcasters to reach a global audience without letting go of their traditional distribution and monetization models," Richard Stern CEO of TuneIn, said. "Over 80 million loyal listeners and our valued broadcast partners have made TuneIn the leading distribution channel for live audio content globally."

TuneIn has garnered distribution deals with more than 200 platforms and devices, and the company features content from 100,000 radio stations and approximately 5.7 million podcasts.

The company's content, ranging from news, to music and sports, is accessible in more than 100 countries. Through its partnerships, TuneIn can be accessed on a wide variety of voice-powered platforms including Siri, Alexa, Google Assistant, Samsung Bixby and Cortana.
