TricorBraun announced Oct. 12 it will acquire a leading glass packaging supplier to expand its global presence. 

Acquiring Vetroelite from LBO France, TricorBraun's acquisition is its latest move to further its presence as Vetroelite operates facilities in Europe and North America, serving customers in 90 countries, according to a company press release. 

"We are very pleased to expand our European presence with the acquisition of Vetroelite," TricorBraun President and CEO Court Carruthers said in the press release. "The Vetroelite team has established a strong reputation for high-quality, innovative packaging solutions, fueled by deep expertise and dedicated customer service. We are proud to welcome Vetroelite to the TricorBraun family, and look forward to supporting Vetroelite's continued growth."

Founded in 1994, Vetroelite is known worldwide for its premium glass packaging solutions for products including spirits, home fragrances, wine, cosmetics and gourmet food, the release stated.

"We know TricorBraun shares that same passion and purpose, and we are delighted to join such a respected packaging leader."

According to the press release, TricorBraun plans to acquire approximately 30 more packaging companies, with Vetroelite being the fourth acquisition for the company this year.
