Sotheby's International Realty's Iris Estates has joined the network and will now operate under Bulgaria Sotheby's International Realty.
The addition of Iris Estates with Bulgaria Sotheby's International Realty is another mark for the company in continued growth throughout Europe as the new location is its nearly 200th affiliated office in the EMEIA office.
"As a leader in luxury residential real estate in Bulgaria, it was only natural for us to align with a brand like Sotheby's International Realty," Hristo Angelkov, owner and operator of Bulgaria Sotheby's International Realty, said in a press release. "From the beginning, our company focused on luxury and residential real estate and provided high-quality services to expats and diplomats. Due to the draw of investment opportunities, we expect to receive increased interest from other Western European countries and the Middle East from both investors and individuals alike. Our affiliation with Sotheby's International Realty enables us to meet and exceed the needs of our clients while presenting these prospects to a global audience."
Philip White, president and CEO of Sotheby's International Realty, said that Bulgaria is an emerging market attractive for global investors and residential development, which is part of the company's decision for its growth into Bulgaria.
Bulgaria Sotheby's International Realty, owned and operated by Angelkov in partnership with Andrei Manoukovski, will bring more than 50 years of experience to the company and will be headquartered in Sofia with two offices to service the entire country, the press release said.
Manoukovski also owns Moscow Sotheby's International Realty, which operates and serves Russia, Cyprus, Kazakhstan, Hungary and Slovenia.
