Scoular launches new brand to represent 'customized solutions, consistent quality and reliability'

Global fishmeal and fish oil marketing company Scoular is launching a new brand, Encompass, for its growing business, according to a press release.

The largest importer of fishmeal in the U.S., Omaha, Nebraska-based Scoular has been in operation since 1892. The brand launch is part of its plan for more global growth, according to the release.

"Scoular has long been a leading global fishmeal partner that connects suppliers and customers with a full spectrum of fishmeal products and services," Steve Dahlblom Scoular's product group manager for marine meals, said in the press release. "The brand Encompass represents the customized solutions, consistent quality and reliability that our global suppliers and customers trust Scoular to deliver without disruption."

The company is working with two partners in investing $12 million in a fishmeal processing plant in Oregon, which is expected to begin operations in summer 2022.

As part of Scoular's expansion into the Asia-Pacific region, the company has plans to launch a fishmeal facility in Myanmar in October and is also expanding a regional headquarters in Singapore.

Scoular has more than 100 offices and facilities across North America and Asia and maintains a steady presence in Mexico.
