Her Highness, a luxury cannabis brand with operations in several states in the United States, has announced that they will be expanding their operations to Canada.

During the pandemic Her Highness expanded rapidly entering the cannabis market in five new states, according to Forbes.

Co-founders Laura Eisman and Allison Krongard started the company in California with a focus on advancing female-forward cannabis couture and developing cannabis products engineered and marketed by women for women.

"As Co-founders, fellow entrepreneurs, friends, and cannabis users, we connected over our love of the plant and desire to give cannabis a whopping “she” moment that would forever put weed on the map for women." Eisman told Forbes. "Her Highness came out of the gate strong with a mission to become the household name for women and cannabis. [...] We have grown Her Highness’ THC presence from a single state, California, into three states, with three more in contract, plus an international partner, all to launch by the end of 2021."

Krongard told Forbes how the company selected which US states to expand to its operations to and said that the company has plans to expand to Canada as well.

"We built this company with the intention of expanding across the US and Canada as quickly as possible, or as the demand we hoped for made it possible," Krongard told Forbes. "All formulas were concepted and designed to be repeatable, exactly, in every state/country we enter. The template for each SKU was perfected before brand launch in order to achieve our goal of being the first, national female cannabis brand. The only way to do it was to be nimble enough to move fast and target the right states in the right order."

Eisman told Forbes that women are the fastest growing market in cannabis, entering at twice the rate as men.

The company is committed to ending the stigma that surrounds cannabis consumption by providing a luxury experience.

"Abolishing the stigma of cannabis use is intrinsic to our mission so we’ve taken great care to weave thought changing principles in our design," Kronan told Forbes. "Examples are gift- worthy cannabis products and packaging to encourage hostess gifting."

According to Eisman, Her Highness sells cannabis paraphernalia customized for the female recreational marijuana experience—the products are "more useful, elegant, and joyful to a female user."
