GO FIRST, formerly known as GoAir, is partnering with WorldTicket and Discover the World as its GDS sub-hosting partner and sales distribution partner, respectively.

WorldTicket will reportedly provide travel agents for easy booking of GO FIRST flights, while Discover the World will operate as the sales distribution partner, according to a press release.

"We are excited to partner with Discover the World and WorldTicket to strengthen our international presence," GO FIRST CEO Kaushi Khona said in the release. "DTW and WorldTicket are global leaders in global sales and distribution, and their combined expertise and reach will give impetus to our growth plans in the global market. The outsourcing of our global sales will open avenues for additional revenue streams while minimizing risk."

Through the new partnership, GO FIRST's global distribution will expand to over 180 countries, according to the press release. Headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, GO FIRST's goal with the partnerships is to grow their global presence and assist with a quicker recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.

The press release reports that the agreement with Discover the World will bring traffic to GO FIRST from other travel companies, expand growth and strengthen market awareness.

"We are so delighted to work alongside GO FIRST and WorldTicket to bring these excellent products and innovative approach to our trade partners," Discover the World Head of Airline Development Aiden Walsh said in the release. "We will be introducing and educating agents and we see great opportunities to grow sales especially with TMC's and Tour operators who in the past would not of consider GO FIRST as they could not be booked via the GDS. With WorldTicket GDS distribution and GO FIRST's excellent product offering, great value and on time performance, we see this as a winning combination for our trade partners."
