Perpetua solidified its expansion in Europe with the recent establishment of its London-based office.
“It's an exciting time for us at Perpetua, and our expansion into Europe marks a milestone moment in the growth of the company and the growth of eCommerce advertising globally,” Perpetua CEO Roscoe Hill, said.
The leading eCommerce advertising and intelligence software company’s new establishment will be led by Mark James, who will serve as Head of Europe. His appointment follows tenures with Google, Adobe, and other major companies that led him to garner a total of 11 years of related experience, a press release read.
"I am thrilled to be joining Perpetua and to have been given the opportunity to lead a strong team of marketplace specialists and to change the game for eCommerce marketplace advertisers across Europe who increasingly need technology to gain efficiencies and maximize performance," says Mark James, Head of Europe Perpetua.
Perpetua works to strengthen all advertising aspects of Target, Amazon, Instacart, and many other large brands. According to the press release, a digital advertising survey of EMEA marketers, conducted in October 2020, revealed that just over half of respondents, at 55%, plan to increase spending on retail websites and apps over the next six months to a year. The number of marketers who preferred social media strategies surpassed other methods at 56%
With approximately 17% of the tech venture’s customer base residing in Europe, the expansion is considered to be convenient for the company. Hill believes that “Expanding our physical presence with an office in London is an investment in our European customers which makes up 17% of our customer base and will allow us to be locally focused and better support a growing number of brands looking to accelerate growth and optimize their marketplace advertising strategies.”
