Corcoran Group, LLC continues its global expansion by welcoming a second Caribbean affiliate, known as Corcoran St. Barth, which will be located in the French West Indies.
President and CEO of the Corcoran Group Pamela Liebman confirmed the expansion in a press release, which marks the company's 13th firm to join the Corcoran Group, LLC affiliation since the group began only 18 months ago.
"There is an indisputable beauty and vibrant energy to St. Bart, and I'm thrilled that we are continuing the momentum of our collective growth with Corcoran St Barth as our second global affiliate," Liebman said in the release. "The island attracts discerning buyers and sellers from across the globe who are searching for something truly special. Extending our footprint to another distinguished second-home market will undoubtedly open doors for our entire network."
Demand for a second location in St. Bart has increased as the "distinguished secondary market is a strong fit for expansion," the release said, especially since the company markets a "Live Who Your Are" message and brand.
"Corcoran is a leader in many dynamic real estate markets that are vital to both St. Bart and our clients – we are incredibly proud to bring the brand to the 'little France of the Caribbean,'" Corcoran's St. Barth lead broker and CEO, Guillaume de Corlieu said in the release. "We are honored to be one of the first global affiliates in Corcoran's network, and I am eager to see what the future holds with the resources of such an esteemed brand behind us."
The St. Bart location will also be backed by marketing lead Olivia Zefel, and will be located in Gustavia.
Corcoran St Barth has specialized in high-end villa rentals after starting with only three homes in 2012. Over the past nine years, Corcoran St. Barth has expanded to more than 180 properties that serve both owners and renters.
The Corcoran Group has been a leading real estate firm and brand for the past 50 years. Since its foundation, the company has grown to encompass more than 120 offices and 5,000 salespeople, the release said.
