ANZ has introduced a new Bank@Post service in partnership with Australia Post, allowing its customers to access banking services at more than 3,300 participating post offices across the country.

The service, which launched today, aims to improve access to face-to-face banking for ANZ customers, particularly in regional and remote areas. Customers can now perform transactions such as cash deposits (up to $8,000 per transaction), withdrawals (up to $2,000 per transaction subject to daily limits), and balance checks at Australia Post locations by using their ANZ Visa Debit cards and entering their PIN.

Katherine Bray, Managing Director of Customer Proposition at ANZ, said: “We’re pleased to launch our new Bank@Post arrangement today, giving our customers more choice about where and when they complete their banking.

“Bank@Post services will give our customers access to banking services in more locations and with greater flexibility through Australia Post’s extensive network, including many that are open on Saturdays.

“This new service will help our customers to manage their finances with confidence and maintain control over everyday banking needs – like deposits and withdrawals – throughout Australia,” Mrs Bray concluded.

The launch is intended to complement ANZ’s existing branch network, which includes over 850 ATMs and more than 1,750 Armaguard atmx points nationwide. Suncorp Bank customers will continue using Bank@Post under an existing agreement.
