The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) Board has announced it will hold a meeting on Thursday, December 18, beginning at 10 a.m. Eastern Time. The agenda for the meeting includes a briefing on the agency’s proposed budget for 2026–2027 and an update on the Share Insurance Fund.

The meeting will take place at NCUA headquarters, located at 1775 Duke Street in Alexandria, Virginia. Those wishing to attend in person are encouraged to register in advance and must enter through the Visitor Center on Diagonal Road.

For those unable to attend in person, the NCUA Board meetings are also available via livestream on the agency’s website and YouTube channel. Documents related to items under consideration by the Board, including memorandums, are made available online at the start of each meeting.

The NCUA is an independent federal agency established by Congress to regulate, charter, and supervise federal credit unions. It manages the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund, which insures deposits for more than 143 million account holders across all federal credit unions and most state-chartered credit unions with support from the full faith and credit of the United States.
