According to a spokesperson for the U.S. Mission to the United Nations, their discussion focused on the President’s Comprehensive Plan to End the Gaza Conflict. They highlighted provisions related to humanitarian aid for Palestinian civilians in Gaza.
The meeting also addressed Jordan’s ongoing and future involvement in the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC). Ambassador Waltz reiterated the United States’ commitment to supporting peace, stability, and prosperity in the region.
