@america, the cultural center of the U.S. Embassy in Jakarta, marked its 15th anniversary on December 2, 2025. Since its launch in 2010, @america has hosted nearly 10,000 events and welcomed two million visitors. The center has built a community of almost 70,000 members.
Located in Pacific Place Mall in the Sudirman Central Business District, @america was designed to introduce young Indonesians to American culture through a modern and accessible space. Over the years, it has offered programs highlighting education, business, technology, and the arts from the United States.
This year’s anniversary theme is “Igniting Inspiration and Innovation.” To celebrate the milestone, @america will hold a live orchestral performance featuring American movie music by TRUST Orchestra on Saturday, December 6.
U.S. Embassy Jakarta Chargé d’Affaires a.i. Peter Haymond said: “@america provides Indonesians – particularly young people – great opportunities to learn more about the United States. But it also strengthens the relationship between Indonesia and the United States by offering a platform for Americans and Indonesians to connect on our many shared goals and interests.”
The center remains open seven days a week with free admission for all programs. Activities include discussions, performances, workshops, and exhibitions aimed at fostering cultural exchange between Indonesia and the United States.
