Saxony-based company HolyPoly has been awarded the people's choice prize at the KfW Entrepreneurs’ Award 2025, receiving EUR 5,000. The award recognizes HolyPoly's business idea focused on sustainable solutions for plastic circularity. The company's approach includes developing take-back systems, advanced recycling processes, and product design to support a circular economy for plastics.
HolyPoly's “Owned Streams” concept provides brand manufacturers with exclusive material flows and high-quality recyclate suitable for new products. This initiative aims to make recycling a dependable source of quality materials rather than just a waste management solution.
The KfW Entrepreneurs’ Award is designed to honor innovative start-ups across Germany that demonstrate creativity and social responsibility. Alongside the people's choice award, experts select winners from each state as well as one national winner, highlighting entrepreneurial spirit and innovation within the country.
"The KfW Entrepreneurs’ Award recognises young companies that are breaking new ground with creative ideas and social responsibility. In addition to the people's choice award, experts name winners from each state as well as one national winner, recognising entrepreneurial spirit and innovative potential in Germany."
