Facebook has introduced its first Facebook Marketplace Holiday Shop, responding to a rise in searches by young adults for items such as fashion, collectibles, and electronics during the 2024 holiday season. The new shop offers affordable products curated by individuals and aims to help users find unique gifts at competitive prices.

The company recently launched a feature called collections, which allows users to group Marketplace listings, invite friends to join, and shop together. Within the Holiday Shop, several creator-curated collections are available: Alex’s Gametime Gifts for sports enthusiasts; Holderness’ Family Finds for children’s gifts; iJustine’s Tech Collection featuring nostalgic technology items; FLIPPED FURNITURE FINDS! for holiday decor; Tay’s Funky Holiday Gifts with unusual and fun options; and April’s Vintage Gems targeting those interested in fashion.

To access the Facebook Marketplace Holiday Shop, users can go to the Marketplace tab in the Facebook app, use the search function by typing “Holiday Shop,” and enter from there. Users are advised to update their app if they do not see this feature on their mobile devices.

"Facebook is continuing to boldly celebrate how we connect people this holiday season. Discover something truly special on the Facebook Marketplace Holiday Shop — where every gift tells a story and every connection goes a long way," according to the company statement.
