Barclays has announced the promotion of 118 employees to the position of Managing Director, effective January 1, 2026. The appointments follow a selection process across the Group.
According to Barclays, this round of promotions recognizes individuals who have demonstrated leadership and have contributed to shaping the company’s strategic direction.
C.S. Venkatakrishnan, Group Chief Executive, stated: “I am proud to congratulate each of our newly promoted colleagues on this well-deserved achievement and look forward to seeing all they will contribute toward shaping Barclays' future.”
The list of those promoted includes staff from various divisions and regions within Barclays.
