Bank of America has announced a new initiative in partnership with Visa, offering new applicants for its Customized Cash Rewards and Unlimited Cash Rewards Visa credit cards the option to select a limited-edition FIFA World Cup 2026 custom card design. This opportunity is available starting December 4 and will continue until July 2026.
As the Official Bank of FIFA World Cup 2026, Bank of America, along with Visa as the Official Payment provider, will provide two exclusive card designs for applicants to choose from.
"We are bringing a unique opportunity directly to new Cash Rewards cardholders, helping them be part of this unforgettable global event," said Mary Hines Droesch, Head of Consumer and Small Business Products & Analytics at Bank of America. "This reflects our ongoing commitment to connecting clients with world-class experiences, alongside the exceptional value our Cash Rewards cards deliver to stretch their dollars further."
In addition to the special card design, Bank of America is also providing an exclusive ticket purchasing opportunity for clients who open a new Cash Rewards Visa credit card. Eligible consumers who apply between December 4, 2025 and January 5, 2026 and have their card established by February 5, 2026 can purchase up to two tickets to select FIFA World Cup 2026 matches starting February 10, while supplies last.
Cardholders eligible for this offer will receive an email on February 10 with a unique link granting access to the FIFA ticket portal. The link will also be available through Bank of America's Online Banking or Mobile Banking app. The window for purchasing tickets opens at noon Eastern Time on February 10 and remains open until either all tickets are sold out or until February 24. Cardholders must create a FIFA ID if they do not already have one; registration is available at the official FIFA login page. Tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis with each eligible cardholder limited to two tickets.
The announcement comes ahead of the final draw for FIFA World Cup 2026 scheduled for December 5. New Customized Cash Rewards Visa cardholders can earn up to six percent cash back in their chosen category during their first year (including a three percent bonus), while Unlimited Cash Rewards Visa holders receive two percent cash back (with an additional half-percent bonus) on all purchases in that period. Additionally, those opening a new Cash Rewards account may receive a $200 welcome bonus after spending $1,000 within the first ninety days.
