Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 2) AI glasses are now available in India, offering improved video capture, longer battery life, and enhanced Meta AI features. The new collection is sold at Ray-Ban India stores and other eyewear retailers nationwide, with prices starting at INR 39,900.

The updated smart glasses provide 3K Ultra HD video recording, ultrawide HDR capabilities, and several upgrades to the built-in Meta AI assistant. Users can expect up to eight hours of battery life on a single charge. The glasses also support fast charging—reaching 50% in about 20 minutes—and come with a case that extends usage by an additional 48 hours. Features such as hyperlapse and slow-motion video will be added through future software updates.

The Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2 line includes three frame styles: Wayfarer, Skyler, and Headliner. New seasonal colors like Shiny Cosmic Blue, Shiny Mystic Violet, and Shiny Asteroid Grey are also part of this year’s release.

Meta has improved its AI assistant for everyday use. Users can activate it by saying “Hey Meta” to receive instant answers or creative prompts. A feature called Conversation Focus helps enhance voices in noisy environments. The latest version also supports full Hindi interaction for tasks such as asking questions, taking photos or videos, controlling media playback, and replying to messages.

Meta recently introduced Celebrity AI Voice for its assistant feature set. According to the company: "Recently, Meta AI introduced Celebrity AI Voice, enabling users to interact with the assistant in natural spoken conversation. People can now interact with Deepika Padukone’s AI voice. She joined Meta AI’s global lineup of voices for the assistant, including many other recognizable celebrity voices to choose from."

A new payment option will soon be available on the Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 2) glasses: secure UPI QR-code payments processed through WhatsApp-linked bank accounts. Users can look at a QR code while wearing the glasses and say “Hey Meta, scan and pay” to complete transactions without using their phones.

"We look forward to more people across India experiencing the all new Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2 smart glasses," stated the company.
