U.S. Embassy announces passport and notarial services for citizens in Penang

The American Citizens Services (ACS) Unit of the U.S. Embassy in Kuala Lumpur has announced it will provide passport and notarial services for U.S. citizens in Penang on the afternoon of December 9, 2025. The specific time and location for these appointments are yet to be confirmed.

According to the embassy, all fees related to passport and notarial services must be paid online through the U.S. government’s secure payment platform. Details about payment procedures will be included in the appointment confirmation email.

U.S. citizens, as well as parents of U.S. citizen minors, who wish to use these services are required to register their interest by December 4, 2025.
