Warburg Pincus acquires Topcast to expand presence in Asia Pacific’s aviation sector

Warburg Pincus has announced the acquisition of Topcast Aviation Supplies Company Limited, a major independent distributor of civil aviation parts and Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) service provider in the Asia Pacific region.

Topcast, established in 1991 and based in Hong Kong, provides integrated solutions for the civil aviation sector. Its services include distribution of aircraft parts and consumables, buyer-furnished equipment, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) services, as well as repair and maintenance support. The company operates throughout Asia Pacific, EMEA, and the Americas, linking global aviation parts manufacturers with rapidly growing markets in these regions.

Warburg Pincus is recognized as an active private equity investor within the global aviation industry. Its portfolio includes companies such as Accelya, Aquila Air Capital, CAMP Systems, Consolidated Precision Products, Extant Aerospace, TransDigm, Triumph and Wencor.
