The U.S. Embassy in Tunis has announced a procurement opportunity for vendors to participate in an electric installation project at the Enfidha Police Academy. The embassy is seeking qualified companies to submit bids for this infrastructure work, with the deadline for submission set for December 15, 2025, at 4 p.m.
A site visit will take place on December 10, 2025, at 10 a.m. Interested parties must email tucontractsollic@state.gov by November 28 at 4 p.m., providing their full name and a copy of their ID card to gain access to the location.
Quotations are required to be submitted in sealed envelopes and must include both technical and financial offers. The technical offer should detail the specifications of the proposed equipment, proof of business registration, and references from similar completed projects. Financial offers must be VAT-free and signed by an authorized representative.
Envelopes should be marked “Quotation Enclosed” and sent to the American Embassy Tunis, Ref: RFQ PR15685423, GSO/Contracting Officer, Les Berges du Lac 1053 – Tunis. Late proposals will not be considered.
The embassy stated: "The Embassy encourages you to make your quote competitive. The RFQ does not commit the American Embassy to make any award." It also clarified that "The U.S. Government intends to award the Purchase Order to the technically qualified, lowest price quote."
Payment will be processed within 30 days after receipt of order and original invoice with banking information.
