The U.S. Embassy in Mexico City has announced the relocation of its consular section. Beginning at noon on Thursday, November 20, 2025, consular services will no longer be available at the current location on Paseo de la Reforma. The embassy stated that consular operations will resume at a new site in Polanco starting Monday, November 24.
During the transition period, emergency assistance and emergency passport services will remain accessible at other U.S. consulates throughout Mexico.
Customers seeking to visit the new consular section can do so via the entrance on the north side of the new embassy building located at the intersection of Calzada Legaria and Avenida Casa de la Moneda.
